Connecting With Our Community Through SNAP: In Conversation With Barnards Green Cricket Club | SNAP Sponsorship | Sports Sponsorship

What's happening at SNAP? What are clubs and businesses achieving with sponsorship? More about the world of sponsorship.......

Building on solid community foundations

You’ve seen how SNAP has helped clubs generate new sponsorship income for clubs and provided guidance for those grassroots clubs that are brand new to sponsorship. But what about a club that has already achieved sponsorship success? Is SNAP still for them? YES!

Meet Barnards Green Cricket Club of Malvern, Worcestershire. They offer a playing pathway for the young right up to the Birmingham and District Premier Cricket League, as well as grounds for other sports and recreation to the local community. With their close connection with the local community they had already secured local businesses across a range of kit and hoardings, but what else could they do?

Increasing the opportunities

After attending a SNAP webinar, club Sponsorship Manager Kath Wood signed up to SNAP and built the club profile including all their existing sponsors, assets and opportunities that they currently had sponsored. Once complete, Kath then started to add new opportunities within the assets that the club had not previously had sponsored! Before the advice given by SNAP C.E.O. Mark Covington on the webinar, Kath had never had player sponsorship or a sponsor for the club’s clock, but they do now, with both deals being completed through SNAP!

An exciting future ahead!

Kath and Barnards Green Cricket Club are now heading into the new season with an exciting spread of opportunities to sponsor at a range of price points to offer to their local community of members, friends, families and businesses! This will give all the club's sides a greater chance of building partnerships to not only sustain the club but build and grow to provide even more opportunities for the local community! Congratulations to Kath from everyone at SNAP, and good luck to Barnards Green Cricket Club for the upcoming season!
