The Inaugural Esher Cricket Club Lunch In The City

April 2016 saw the launch of ‘The Inaugural Esher Cricket Club Lunch in the City’. Brasserie Blanc, Southbank hosted us with over 150 members, sponsors and guests for an exquisite 3-course meal, heads & tails, guest speaker, raffle prizes and a live auction hosted by Jonny Gould.
With fundraising forming a huge part of grass root community sport clubs revenue, SNAP and Esher Cricket Club developed their Inaugural Lunch in the City. A fantastic afternoon for all to enjoy with a dedicated goal to raise money for their new cricket nets – a long-term goal, significantly accelerated!
Over 150 guests enjoyed guest speaker Jeremy Coney M.B.E. alongside Jonny Gould, our resident auctioneer who certainly made everyone feel welcome with his quick wit and sledging ability!
Members and guests were treated to an array of fantastic prizes, to name but a few, ‘Dinner for 10 at the Albert’, ‘a week in a luxurious villa in Portugal’, ‘Catered box for 20 at the Oval’ are just a few of the fantastic prizes we had on offer.
