Team Guildford Business Club with Nick Evans

In June, #SNAPevents welcomed a southern hemisphere theme with restaurant partner CAU and Nick Evans joining us for Team Guildford’s third event of 2016.
Again, an excellent afternoon with Dave Ward our resident compere with attendees treated to Nick Evans (Former All Blacks and current Harlequins RFC player). Nick shared some interesting ‘behind the scenes’ insight into life as a rugby player, coming from a rugby mad nation (New Zealand) and adapting to life in the U.K at Harlequins.
Guests were spoilt with some fantastic food; a spread of Argentinian burgers and a few enjoyed some adjoining red wine too (you know who you are!). Throughout the Q&A, attendees were given an exclusive chance to ask Nick Evans (+Dave Ward) any questions about life as a rugby player, common themes both in rugby and business or whether they wear ‘tighty whiteys’ or ‘boxers’ (This has been witnessed before!). Holly Chantler (Morrison’s Solicitors) won best question of the day and was awarded a fantastic Chilean bottle of red wine courtesy of CAU.
Our next event is with James Horwill, discussing how tough it must have been losing 3-0 (first time in English rugby history) against England on home soil. If you missed out on Nick Evans make sure you put Thursday 29th September (12:00-16:00) into your calendars and reserve your place ASAP!
