Founded in 1904 in Wolverhampton, our club offers a full range of opportunities for senior & juniors to enjoy the sport at all levels of play. Whether you wish to play, coach or umpire, we have a place for you on one of our many competitive or recreational teams.

Brand Awareness & Exposure:

The Club Today:

The Club boasts over 250 members with 4 Senior Mens, 4 Senior Ladies, along with 1 Badgers team who all play in competitive leagues. In addition we have a Junior development training for children from 5 to 14 years old, along with a Back to Hockey programme aimed at both children and adults, who are either new to the sport or returning after some time. In 2022, we have also introduced Walking Hockey.

The club has a flexible approach to sponsorship, with perks ranging from but are not limited to:

- logo & link on social media posts and websites pages, to an audience of roughly 500,000 annually

-  physical advertisement on club assets, providing exposure to players and spectators which will also be advertised through our social media 

- opportunities to advertise at club events, to an audience wider than our existing membership base

- captive audience of club members for exclusive business promotions, driving top-line sales

Alternative/supplementary perks can be arranged through negotiation dependent on the level of sponsor commitment, budget and your business objectives.

We are committed to giving you and your company the exposure and promotion you deserve. We recognise that without your support many of our club members would not be enjoying their sport at the weekend! 

Aspirations:

We have great long term ambitions, and aspire to offer hockey to everyone - and be the 'go too' club in the Wolverhampton area.

We also hope to build a group of young senior players, to transition into the senior side in a few years time. This will also help to increase membership size, which is a long term ambition of ours which we have continued to do year on year so far.

As we are aware of the impact social media has on businesses nowadays - we are looking to grow our social media following, so we can offer even further exposure to our sponsors.

History:

Wolverhampton & Tettenhall Ladies Hockey Club was formed in 1996 following the merger of Wolverhampton Ladies Hockey Club and Tettenhall Ladies Hockey Club.

Then in 2012, following the merger of Wolverhampton and Tettenhall Ladies Hockey Club with Wolverhampton Mens Hockey Club, the club became formally known as the now Wolverhampton and Tettenhall Hockey Club (WATs).
