About us:
The Cheshire Football Association is the not-for-profit governing body for all football in Cheshire, and is responsible for the organisation, education, governance and development of the grassroots game in the county.
Cheshire FA works in conjunction with the National Football Association and is an enterprising and dynamic SME in the heart of the County.
The Cheshire County FA Vision of “Changing Lives Through Football” is an all-embracing vision-statement that demonstrates not only our commitment to equality – but also our passionate belief in inclusivity and diversity. The foundations on which this is based are embedded in our values of “Teamwork, Inspiration, Integrity, Responsibility and Empathy” – and the behaviours that link them together.
Grassroots Football in Cheshire
We currently have approximately 3500 teams playing various formats of affiliated football with over 60,000 weekly participants.
Disability football continues to grow year on year and we have over 1000 disabled players.
The female game also continues to explode and flourish and there are over 5000 players regularly participating.
Male participation continues to be our biggest area of the game with over 55000 players.
The game is supported by over 900 referees and upwards of 5,000 volunteers
Aspirations
