Who Are We?

We are Higham Cricket Club, a vibrant and inclusive cricket club with over 150 members, based in Higham, Barnsley, South Yorkshire. Established in 1875, we are a community-focused club that fields senior, women’s, disability and junior teams, and serves as a welcoming hub for local residents.

Why is sponsorship important?

1. Maintain and improve our facilities (including our newly refurbished pavilion and net practice area)
2. Expand our coaching programmes for juniors, women, and disability cricket

What will your investment enable?

Through your sponsorship, you will support the following objectives:

1. Expand our disability and Super 1s cricket programme, offering inclusive sport for young people with disabilities across Barnsley
2. Grow our women’s and girls’ cricket section, providing more competitive and social opportunities for female players
3. Enhance our junior coaching infrastructure, ensuring children aged 5–15 receive quality development in a safe, welcoming environment
