About us:

Clanfield FC

Hello and welcome to the official SNAP Sponsorship profile of Clanfield FC.

We're delighted to announce that we’ve now partnered with SNAP Sponsorship and we’re looking for sponsors who are excited about affiliating themselves with a large Hampshire grassroots football club with big ambitions and a community spirit.

We strive to craft a partnership with our sponsors that meets their specific objectives, whether that be community gifting, social responsibility (CSR), direct sales or brand building.

We’ll work with you to develop a partnership which meets both your objectives and adds value to our members — supporting our club’s ongoing work in the community to remove barriers and make sport enjoyable, accessible and sustainable for all.

Whatever your motivation, find out more below. Thank you for visiting our profile.

Why Sponsor Us?

Increased brand awareness, raising the profile of your business in our community

Do you want to raise the profile of your business or organisation? Clanfield FC is keen to develop new relationships with businesses who can offer beneficial products and services to our local community. Sponsoring us will raise the profile of your business and benefit you in the following ways:

  • Exposure to hundreds including players and spectators from visiting teams
  • Publicity in local papers
  • Increased brand awareness in our newsletter and on our website and social media
  • Satisfaction from giving back to the community
  • You’re supporting a much-needed local amenity which brings enjoyment to many.

Networking and engaging with our many members and supporters

In addition to our large membership and extensive supporter network, Clanfield FC understands the importance and power of the internet and social media. We therefore use our website and Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube to promote our club, fixtures and sponsors with a total following of over 3,000 people.

We share our ground with Havant & Waterlooville FC which hugely increases the visibility of all of our activities. We also have the ability to put up sponsor signage which will be seen not only by the hundreds of players who use the stadium, but also by supporters and passers-by.

We’re an extremely social club who pride themselves on being warm, friendly and family-orientated. We regularly host events throughout the year and we’d be happy to host a sponsored networking event if desired. We're currently organising a golf day for April and also our first club tournament at the end of May.

Clanfield FC has an array of sponsorship opportunities which can be tailored to meet your objectives. Through sponsorship, our club will promote your company in a wide variety of ways enriching the profile of your business in our community.

Get involved in grassroots sport and remove economic barriers – making sport affordable, accessible and inclusive for all

Sponsorship of a grassroots sport delivers a much higher return on investment than traditional advertising. This is because sponsorship allows your business to become directly involved in activities that are highly valued by local consumers.

Clanfield FC is proud of its strong bonds with the community and enjoys supporting and engaging with local initiatives. Consumers are known to form strong positive associations with sponsors who support the development of grassroots sport and also contribute to the local area and by directly supporting us, you’re helping to remove economic barriers – making sport affordable, accessible and inclusive for all in the community.

The Club Today

As an FA Charter Standard Community Club, Clanfield Football Club aims to provide a safe, enjoyable, learning environment for all children and adults.

We offer training sessions for all ages and abilities and teams compete in countywide and local leagues; including the Hampshire Premier League, Wyvern League, Portsmouth Youth League, and Hampshire Girls Youth League.

Football teams operate at all ages from U7 to U18 and open age groups. Celebrating over 35 years in existence, we have also provided girls only football teams since 2010.

In 2019, the football club was accredited as an SSE Wildcats Centre, an initiative designed to inspire girls aged 5-11 to be involved in football, providing girls with regular opportunities to play football and take part in organised sessions in a fun and engaging environment.

Clanfield Football Club welcomes new members to join in with both the playing and running of the club. The club is run wholly by volunteers and operates on a “Not for profit” basis.

History of Our Club

Clanfield FC was formed in 1983 with the merging of Clanfield Seniors and Clanfield Boys Club to establish a great link between the clubs and provide a local club for the area. In our relatively short history, we have built up a strong infrastructure both on and off the pitch and this has enabled us to run teams ranging from boys and girls youth and minis teams up to senior level.

Peel Park has always been the home ground of Clanfield FC since the club was formed, with changes over the years to accommodate the league standards to play at Hampshire level.

As a club our most successful period to date was in the 90s when winning the Portsmouth and District League at all levels, then joining the Hampshire League in 1997.

The club’s biggest achievement came in the 1998/99 season with the club winning the Hampshire League Division 3 title and the Hampshire Intermediate Cup – completing the double and making history for the club. The club briefly joined the Wessex League in the early 2000s – until the reformed Hampshire Premier League was introduced for the 2007/08 season and that is where the club has stayed until this present day.

The club has recently been restructured with Mark Graham being elected the new Chairman. This new structure will enable us to communicate more effectively with the local community. We look forward to a bright future and much success at Clanfield FC and we do hope you’ll join us on our journey.

Aspirations

With membership and crowd attendances rising, we have ambitions to continue to improve the infrastructure of our club and grow our teams.

Our aspirations as a club are to establish a foundation where everyone, despite ability, age, gender, religion or background, can play and enjoy football. We're currently sharing our ground so our 1st team are keen to get promoted in order to gain our own ground.

Naturally, we want to support our sponsors and build them in to our club on a strategic level — allowing all of our partners to benefit from our ever-improving facilities, expanding audience and our community involvement.
