At Balcombe Cricket Club, cricket is more than a game — it’s the heartbeat of our community. With over 300 active members and countless visiting players and supporters throughout the season, our club provides a welcoming space where people of all ages and abilities can play, learn, and belong.
Each week, our grounds come alive with energy — from junior coaching sessions to senior matches and social events that bring families and friends together. But as our membership continues to grow, our current training facilities are struggling to keep pace.
To meet this demand, we’re launching the Cricket Nets Development Project — and we’re offering a few fantastic opportunities for local companues to support the project
Celebrating Growth and Inclusivity
2025 marked a major milestone for Balcombe: the launch of our first-ever Girls’ Cricket Team.
The response has been incredible — with enthusiasm, dedication, and talent shining through in every training session. Our girls’ team has quickly become a symbol of progress and inclusivity, inspiring younger players and demonstrating that cricket truly is a sport for everyone.
The new nets will be essential in supporting this growth, ensuring that our players — men, women, boys, and girls — have access to modern, safe, and high-quality practice facilities.
About the Project
The new cricket nets will:

Replace outdated infrastructure with modern, safe, weather-resistant training lanes.

Support player development and community engagement for years to come.
The project will directly benefit over 300 club members and countless visiting players every season — ensuring the next generation has the facilities they need to train, compete, and thrive.
We have 100 £100 tickets available for individuals or companies to support our project.
Once we have sold all 100 tickets, a draw will be made for the following prizes.
