About US
Welcome to the profile of Alexandra Park Sports Club – a community interest company.
The Club was established in 1888 as the Alexandra Park Cricket Club. In 1906 the Club settled at the Racecourse Ground in the historic Alexandra Park – the club’s home today. Football started in 1898 within Alexandra Park and the Club joined the Southern Amateur League in 1925. After decades of success in both cricket and football the two parts amalgamated in 1972 with youth football joining in 1995.
The Alexandra Park Sports Club incorporated in 2022 and is both a community interest company (limited by guarantee) and a community amateur sports club. It has over 800 playing members and over 500 parent members and has offered sports recreation for thousands of men, women, girls and boys over the years and is looking to increase and improve its facilities, stakeholder contacts and community reach for many decades to come.
