Introducing West Essex Cricket Club

We are an accredited ECB Clubmark cricket club and a Community Amateur Sports Club which means, simply but importantly, that we are an inclusive, family friendly club run by volunteers. We are over 100 years old and are based in Highams Park, London E4 close to Walthamstow and Chingford.

We currently have 4 adult teams playing Saturday league cricket and 4 junior age group teams. We have another 50+ boys and girls who participate in our All Stars and Dynamos Cricket programmes.  We also feature girls cricket and women's softball cricket.  We offer cricket 12 months of the year with our Winter activity including local indoor competitions, net practice and coaching sessions.   

We have teamed up with SNAP sponsorship to help find new customers for local businesses from our 200+ membership and our social media audience. We want to attract new sponsors to our club to help us continue to grow, support the local community and improve our facilities.

Looking forward

Sponsorship is key to us achieving our aspirations as a cricket club and to being a valuable asset to our local community.  We expect to have a new clubhouse facility within the next 12-18 months. Our aim is to increase the number of teams we field, grow numbers on our ECB junior programmes , increase the number of qualified coaches, build a net practice facility, improve our playing facilities and become more successful on the field as a result. We want to be able to introduce Summer Cricket Camps for kids, provide more kit and equipment, increase opportunities for girls to participate in cricket, grow the Women's softball team and offer bursaries for less fortunate children who want to join a sports club.
