The Junior Darts Corporation is in the heart of the community with links to a sizeable audience base. We’re one of the largest darts organisations in the world and the only darts movement that caters solely for Under-18s. In addition to our large player membership and extensive darts supporter network, we’re also active on social media and use Facebook, Instagram and YouTube to promote the JDC and our national competitions, events and sponsors.
We’re an extremely sociable club who pride themselves on being warm, friendly and community-orientated. We regularly host large events and competitions throughout the year and we’d be happy to host a sponsored networking event if desired.

What was once just a pub game, darts is now one of the most popular sports in the UK having grown significantly during the pandemic and now generating an average of 84,000 searches online per month in the UK alone. Furthermore, in 2021, the World Darts Championship final had a peak of 1.25 million live viewers in the UK.
Barry Hearn—a notable English sporting events promoter—once referred to darts as a beautiful mixture between a world-class sport and a party. Two very special ingredients that appeal to a lot of people and for a seemingly simple sport, darts has a lot more to offer than meets the eye. It is all about the aim, the consistency, the unknown. The quick numbers, quick throws and the unique position of playing on your own. There is something about darts that just keeps you on the edge of your seat as there are no big pauses or boring moments, each minute something is happening.
We also have a wonderful demographic through our mixture of committed players and loyal supporters who come from a range of different backgrounds. We cater for children, but also have an extensive adult audience including volunteers, coaches, parents and supporters.
Darts really does offer something for everyone and by aligning your brand with an organisation at the heart of the community, you have an opportunity to build strong relationships with potential customers and be associated with the positive emotions and shared experiences associated with the JDC, enhancing your brand loyalty and recognition.
The JDC Today
The Junior Darts Corporation is the only bespoke junior movement in the world that caters exclusively for players under the age of 18. Our sole being is to further the opportunities for children to excel in our sport or simply to enjoy the game with friends and family.
The aspiration is to put darts into the hands of as many children as possible and from that, nurture and develop opportunities for those that wish to continue, in whichever way they wish.
We have over 50 academies worldwide, all are extremely community-focused and are local heroes in their own environment, whilst being partnered with the JDC to provide multiple opportunities to develop. This is for children of course, but we do also educate volunteers and parents too, as well as providing a comprehensive accreditation scheme and a coaching qualification package.
We have an expansive range of sponsorship opportunities which may include our academies, competitions, tours, international events, a membership scheme, a bespoke playing environment for girls, a coaching certificate and so much more. Obviously, as we are an under-18 movement, the sponsorships need to be appropriate.
Our History
The Junior Darts Corporation was founded by Steve Brown, a former professional darts player within the PDC who was looking for a different environment for his son to learn the game – away from the traditional pub where most find the sport.
He created an academy in Bristol in 2010 and then due to popularity opened another and another. In 2015 the then called " Steve Brown Darts Academies" re-branded to take hold of the international interest and industry backing to become the Junior Darts Corporation.
As we have grown, we have increased our opportunities, aspirations and offerings to children to give them goals to aspire to and a safe environment to play and enjoy the game of darts.
Aspirations
With membership numbers increasing and interest in darts rising, we plan to continue to develop the infrastructure at the JDC and grow our offerings and opportunities for local children.
Naturally, we want to support our sponsors and build them in to the JDC on a strategic level — allowing all of our partners to benefit from our ever-improving facilities, expanding audience and our community involvement.
