Who Are We?

We are the football club of the world-renowned University of Liverpool. Since 1892, UoL FC has proudly been one of the most followed and recognised sports club within the University. With over 100 members across 4 teams from players to staff competing in the nationally recognised BUCS leagues, we are seeking for sponsors to collaborate with our club and support our growth.

Our primary aim is to achieve excellence both on and off the pitch. Forming commercial relationships is a proven way of supporting our efforts. We understand your potential to support us in achieving our goals, and we believe we can return the favour by supporting and enriching your partnership goals. With an extensive list of tiered opportunities and a dedicated team comprised of the best students in the city, we ensure that your commercial objectives are securely met.

 

Audience Makeup

Our audience is wide-reaching. Over our 3 main social media profiles (Instagram, X and TikTok), we have over 4000 followers. Moreover, our audience is easily accessible and engaged. In the last 90 days alone our Instagram account has reached 4,848 different accounts and 8,355 profile visits. 

With an Instagram Engagement Rate of 3%, our social media performs significantly higher than the average club at our level (RivalIQ, 2024).

Although our club is student-based, 28.3% of our followers are between the ages of 25 and 34, showcasing our outreach not only across different platforms, but across different ages as well. This enables our partners to reach a diverse demographic. 

With 4 teams playing weekly at home in Liverpool or away across the north of England, our sponsors have an opportunity to expand their outreach across the country as well.

We also provide bespoke access to 600+ Campus Football members and 28,000 university students through further media and engagement initiatives.

 

Tiered Opportunities

Our club offers a wide range of opportunities for you. For your convenience, we have provided a tiered opportunities menu, giving you the freedom to create a customised sponsorship package that aligns both with your commercial objectives and budget.

We invite you to select the opportunities that interest you and return your selections to us. Commitment to any agreement will commence in August 2024 and will continue until the end of the season unless agreed otherwise.

 

UoL FC Initiatives to Look Forward to

University of Liverpool Men's FC are going through a major overhaul in our off-pitch activities. 

Recognising the potential of the University of Liverpool Management School, we are providing current students with the opportunity to work within a dedicated UoL FC commercial department. This department is responsible for developing a season-long campaign and fulfilling the commercial sponsorship commitments outlined in our opportunities list.

We believe this is particularly relevant to any graduate programmes that your business might have to offer to graduating students; connecting with our club opens a valuable channel to connect with some of the university’s most talented prospects.

Furthermore, as we continually develop and update our inventory, several new initiatives are in the pipeline. For instance, we are creating an independent webpage linked to the central university website. This platform will showcase our sponsors on a sponsorship directory page. This will be free of charge if a gold-tiered asset has been purchased.

The university's Fresher's Fair attracts thousands of students who visit stalls run by various sports clubs. UoL FC consistently stands out as the most popular sports club, with the highest number of visitors and trialist sign-ups each year. This presents an excellent opportunity to collaborate with us, providing perks and initiatives while gaining significant brand exposure among students.
